Mehmet Caglar Director- General of The Turkish State Meteorological Service met with Iranian counterpart Bahram Sanaie in Tehran today. He was accompanied with his deputy on the occasion!

The two permanent Representatives visited on a bilateral cooperation basis in Tehran, I.R of Iran Meteorological headquarter.

Sanaie and Caglar then headed some working sessions.

Iran and Turkey want to reinforce their international cooperation and technical ties, being the members of WMO.

TSMS, was founded in 1937. It is the only legal organization which provides all meteorological information in Turkey. While I.R of Iran Meteorological Organization was founded in1958 it was the only source for providing the same information. On the final day of Turkish delegation a memorandum of understanding signed and sealed between the parties.
