The 30th Meeting of the managers of IRIMO headquarters and provinces is held on Tuesday, 20/10/2009, at the Islamic Republic of Iran Meteorological Organization (IRIMO). The Meeting was the first one with the attendance of the new IRIMO President, Mr. Sanaei, Dr. Asadi-the Deputy Minister of Transportation Economy in the Ministry of Roads and Transportation- and the general managers and deputy managers of IRIMO’s provincial offices.

Efficiency
was the main topic of the Meeting, following the statements of the Supreme
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, describing the new Iranian year 1388 as the
year of “reforms in consumption patterns.” At the beginning of the Meeting, Mr.
Sanaie welcomed Dr. Asadi, the Deputy Minister of Transportation Economy in the
Ministry of Roads and Transportation. He also welcomed all the managers and
assistant managers of IRIMO. Then he invited Dr. Asadi to take the floor.
Dr. Asadi
stated that in planning economic, social, and cultural developments, a lot of
efforts have been made to encourage administrative organizations to make use of
weather and climate studies in implementing their great projects. He described
the above mentioned statements as a gift to the managers and assistant managers
of IRIMO.
Dr. Asadi emphasized on the issue of efficiency in IRIMO and continued “we have limited resources, however unlimited needs. The public expectations are more than our resources, and our skill is to take optimum advantage of these limited resources.” “We show our skill by applying management approaches to efficiency”, he stated. “In this sense, one of Mr. Sanaie’s plans is the increase of human resource efficiency In IRIMO. Efficiency is often defined as optimum use of resources” he added.

Dr. Asadi
added “Financial allocations should be in accordance with the time of
implementing the projects or their climatic seasons. By climatic season, I mean
some provinces receive their budget in the wet season or the season of
unemployment prevalence; therefore, these projects cannot be implemented.
